FAQS

What uses is the Garland Volga 505 3T-V24 pump intended for?
It is a 750 W and 3.2 bar multicellular surface pump designed for transferring clean water and for mounting as a domestic or irrigation pressure group. It is not suitable for sludge or water with suspended solids.
What flow rate and delivery head does it offer?
It reaches a maximum flow rate of 6000 l/h, a maximum suction height of 8 m and a maximum delivery height of 32 m. These values make it suitable for shallow wells and for bringing water to various consumption points in a home.
Can it become an automatic pressure group?
Yes. It is prepared to be automated with the Garland HEAD pressure controller, an optional accessory. The pump is delivered with a type C connection to plug directly into the HEAD without intermediate connections.
Why does it have three turbines and what advantage does it provide?
The three staggered turbines allow pressure to be gained more efficiently than a single-cell pump of similar power. This configuration favors stable operation when working with several taps open or with long sections of pipe.
What maximum water temperature does it allow and what material is the pump body made of?
Accepts water up to 40 ºC. The pump body is made of HT250 cast iron, a robust material that provides durability against mechanical wear and the continued pressure of use as a pressure group.
What suction and delivery diameters do you use?
Both the suction and discharge mouths are 33 mm. It is advisable to use hoses or pipes compatible with that measurement and respect the rest of the instructions in the manual so as not to penalize flow or pressure.
